Mixed times tables from 2 to 12 against the clock. Or pick a single table below to practise one at a time.

How long?

Type the answer. Correct answers move on by themselves. Press Enter to skip a wrong one.

A times tables test you can repeat every day

Each run gives a new random mix of facts, so you can take it again and again. The results show how many you got right, how long each answer took and which facts you missed, so the next practice goes where it helps most.

Your best score and your last ten scores are kept in this browser, so you can see progress without an account.

A good order to learn the tables

  • Start with 1, 2, 5 and 10. They follow patterns that are easy to see.
  • Then 3, 4 and 11. The 4 times table is double the 2 times table.
  • Then 6, 8 and 9. The 8 times table is double the 4 times table.
  • Finish with 7 and 12. By then most of their facts are already known from other tables, because 7 × 6 is the same as 6 × 7.
